what are your processing times?
Processing times vary but it is generally around 2-4 weeks. washing instructions
t-shirt care instructions:
if you're using a machine to wash me, please wash me on a low heat (30), but I do prefer to be hand washed! I really don't like strong detergents being used on me or being tumble dried!! if you feel in the mood to iron me, iron me inside out!
tote bag care instructions:
if it's a tote you're looking to wash we warn against it, it's completely at your own risk :))
jewellery care instructions
❀ stainless steel won't tarnish or corrode but it does still scratch so just be careful and don't be too aggressive with your pieces
❀ can i wear my jewellery whilst swimming, showering, in water etc?
yes, stainless steel will be fine in water however i wouldn't recommend submerging it too often! if you want to wear it in the sea (or any other salt water situations), just give it a quick rinse with clean fresh water to remove any salt residue!
❀ to clean, use the polishing cloth that comes with each piece to keep it shiny and in great condition
❀ made from stainless steel (meaning that it won't tarnish or corrode!)
❀ each piece is designed and made in house, so please keep in mind engraving placement may slightly vary due to the production process.
❀ each jewellery piece comes with: a small 100% cotton pouch to keep it safe whilst you're not wearing it and a polishing cloth to keep it shiny!
how, who and where are the products made?
A lot of the time I refer to us/we etc but right now it’s just me (one girl who is fulfilling her dreams of selling her art) doing everything from designing, making every single order, shipping them, marketing, managing the website and everything else.
All of the products are handmade in house currently.
what is your return policy?
At amic studio, we really truly make the effort to be sustainable and environmentally friendly, so this means everything we do enables us to waste less and be kinder to our planet.
Each and every single order is made to order, which means we don’t have a bunch of stock of pre-made tees ready to go so we don’t ever have excess and unsold stock. So this does mean that we can’t offer returns (unless it was our fault) or exchanges as each order is treated as a custom order.
So all we advise is that you double check the size guide - but if you are unsure of what size you might be or need help deciding - drop us a message and we will do our very best to help.
is your packaging environmentally friendly?
It has taken a lot of research and time to find durable yet recyclable/recycled packaging materials so we reduce our carbon footprint a little. Our mailers, even our pink mailers are recyclable as well as the tissue paper, order cards/info etc.
Sometimes you might see a little bit of plastic being used (e.g. sticker/print packaging) - but a lot of the time this is leftover stock/given to us so instead of just throwing it away to end up in a landfill somewhere without using it, we are still making sure it gets used. In other cases, like with our prints a plastic sealable bag is the only way to make sure we can ensure that the print won’t get moisture damaged on the way to you - but we only ever really use plastic when necessary.
Also, occasionally prints may turn up in envelopes (like amazon) ones and it may not be the prettiest packaging but we promise the print inside is pretty and it is given all the correct packaging to make sure it gets to you looking lovely still but it just enables us to reduce, reuse and recycle.
